First up, we have Haemul Pajeon (Seafood Pancake):
This is a savory pancake which is filled with green onions and fresh seafood. Crispy on the outside and soft inside, it pairs perfectly with soy-vinegar dipping sauce.
Second up, we want you to try Buchu Kimchi (Garlic Chive Kimchi):
This lesser-known kimchi features garlic chives fermented with chili and spices. It’s fresh, slightly pungent, and a perfect side dish for rice or noodles.
Third on the list is Tteokbokki (Spicy Rice Cakes):
Chewy rice cakes simmered in a sweet-and-spicy gochujang sauce. Add fish cakes and boiled eggs for extra flavor and texture.
Fourth on the list is Samgyetang (Ginseng Chicken Soup):
This is a whole chicken stuffed with rice, ginseng, and jujubes, simmered to perfection. This nutritious soup is ideal for boosting energy on colder days.
Fifth, Japchae is made from Sweet potato noodles which are stir-fried with veggies, beef, and a soy-sesame sauce. It’s sweet, savory, and great as a main dish or a side.
Sixth on the list is bibimpap which is a vibrant bowl of rice topped with colorful veggies, a fried egg, and gochujang. Stir it all together for a burst of flavors in every bite!
Number eight is a Korean Spicy Chicken, This is a crispy fried chicken glazed in a sticky, spicy-sweet sauce. It’s addictive and perfect for a weekend treat or game night.
Lastly, we have Jjapaguri with Steak, A fusion of Jjapaghetti and Neoguri instant noodles topped with juicy steak. Popularized by Parasite, it’s umami-rich and ridiculously indulgent.
